The two main International airports into Indonesia are in Jakarta- Soekarno‑Hatta International Airport (CGK) or in Denpasar, Bali- Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS). Both offer direct onward flights to Kupang or Sorong.

Immigration requires all visitors to have a minimum of 6 months left on your passport. Please check with your local consulate for the latest entry and visa requirements.

"All Indonesia"
Indonesia has introduced a unified digital portal named All Indonesia, to streamline immigration, customs, and health procedures into a single form which can be filled out 72 hours before your arrival.

International Arrivals Into Bali Denpasar (DPS)

FROM BALI:
Ngurah Rai International airport (DPS)  in Bali is one of Indonesia's largest international airport. This is a great choice if you are coming from abroad or arriving from within Indonesia itself.
If you are flying from Europe, there are regular flight options available, usually with a stop over in the Middle East, Kuala Lumpur or Singapore.
For our guests arriving via the USA international flights to Bali are usually available with a stop in either Hong Kong or Tokyo.

There are two direct daily flights from Bali (DPS) to Kupang (KOE) with Lion Air which takes roughly 1hr 50minutes. You will need to plan for a night in Kupang, and from there, you will then need to take the short 1-hour flight to Alor Island- Mali Airport (ARD). There is currently one flight a day with Wings Air, departing at 08:30am.

FROM JAKARTA:
Flights from Jakarta (CGK) to Kupang (KOE) take roughly 3hr 15mins. Currently, there are daily flights from Jakarta to Kupang, landing at 6:15am with Batik Air & Citilink, which could potentially allow you to fly direct to Alor on the same day (as long as there were no delays!).

FROM KUPANG:
The flight from Kupang (KOE) to Alor Island- Mali Airport (ARD) is a short 1-hour flight. There is currently one flight a day with Wings Air, departing at 08:30am.

There are a small number of hotel options in Kupang that are quite close to the airport. Our bookings team can give you more advice on this so please feel free to ask us!
