Explore the far-Flung sites of Alor to the Majestic Mantas of Komodo aboard the kLM eliya!

Want a little bit of everything? Then look no further than this fantastic 10 day 9 night package! This phenomenal trip should be on every divers bucket-list! This itinerary will only be on offer twice a year, so book your spot early to avoid disappointment!

Combining the pristine, remote reefs of Alor, to the unspoiled & highly diverse marine life of Maumere, all the way through to the majestic mantas of Komodo National Park you will experience a plethora of incredible sites! Which one will you pick as your favourite?!

Alor and the Pantar Straits have some of the most adventurous currents of the trip. With over 500 species of coral, these pristine reefs with leave you breathless with wonder!

From Alor, we will take you further on into Maumere. with its luscious coral reefs and abundant marine life, your only concerns will be ensuring enough space on your camera's memory card!

If that wasn't adventure enough, we will sail onwards to the Komodo National Park, travelling from the South to North- how many manta's will you spot?!

Dive sites will be chosen based on the conditions at the time, tides, your dive experience level and of course if you have any particular requests, we will always try to accommodate where possible!

Please note we require all divers to hold a minimum Open Water license + Deep Adventure dive (allowing you to dive up to 30M).

SAMPLE Itinerary: 
10 day 9 night (25 dives)


Itinerary below is for illustration purposes and will be subject to conditions at the time

Day 1 : Embarkation Day- (1 check dive + 1 day dive) 
At 10am, one of our drivers will collect you from the airport, or if you are already on Alor island, we can arrange a pick up from your hotel and bring you to the KLM Eliya moored at Kalabahi Port.

Once everybody is onboard our crew will offer you a welcome drink and our Cruise Director will orientate you to the KLM Eliya and explain how the next week is going to work as well as ensuring you are fully aware of our safety procedures onboard.

You will be given time to check out your cabins and become familiar with the boat while we prepare for your first dives aboard Eliya!

Afterwards, we will start sailing towards our first overnight mooring spot within Alor. Your first meal aboard will be a delicious lunch cooked by our fantastic local chefs.

*If you plan to take the early morning flight from Kupang to Alor island on the day of embarkation, please note, there is currently only one flight per day from Kupang to Alor island, landing at 0930am. 

Day 2 & 3: (3 day dives + 1 sunset/ night dive each day)
We will wake you up nice and early for your first dive of day 2 to make the most of the day ahead! Today the adventure begins with world class diving and the unrivalled beauty of the surrounding islands. Over the next two days we will explore the dives sites around Alor and the Pantar Strait- with it's exhilarating currents, crystal clear water and pristine reefs a must-visit for all divers!

Days 2 & 3 will follow a similar schedule:

We will wake you each morning around 6.00am, allowing you the option to enjoy some light snacks, tea and coffee, before embarking on your first exhilarating dive of the day- Can you think of a better way to wake up?!

After Dive 1 you will be welcomed back onboard with a hot, tasty breakfast to enjoy as we travel to our second site of the day.

Dive 2 will begin late morning. After Dive 2 you will enjoy an extended surface interval, allowing ample time to enjoy a delicious lunch!

Dive 3 will begin late afternoon, allowing plenty of time to soak up the stunning scenery this area has to offer.

Your final dive of the day will be a sunset/ night dive. Depending on the location of the site, we will serve dinner either before, or after this dive.

Day 4: (3 day dives)
Today, we will wake up at Maumere to explore dive sites such as Pulau Babi and Pulau Besar. Experience "the crack" an awe inspiring dive site created by the earthquake in 1992, to gorgeous reefs covered in Gorgonian fan corals- keep your eyes peeled for frogfish hiding in the reefs!

After your days adventure, we will start sailing towards the south region of Komodo National Park. 

Day 5 & 6: (3 day dives + 1 sunset/ night dive)
Day 5 & 6 will follow a similar schedule to day 2 & 3. The dives will be within the Komodo National Park, searching for the majestic Manta rays at sites like Manta Alley and enjoying the kaleidoscope of colours of the reefs at sites such as Cannibal Rock. Unforgettable days await! Dependent on time and sites dived over these days, we will also aim to visit the famous Pink Beach. 

Day 7 & 8: (3 day dives + 1 sunset/ night dive)
After all the excitement of the South, we head on to the North of the National Park for exhilarating drift dives of Castle Rock, Crystal Rock & Shot Gun. Keep your eyes peeled for the schools of jack trevallies and sharks as they glide effortlessly by!

Day 9: (2 day dives)
The last dives of this this incredible adventure will be around Siaba Bay. After your last and final dive (until next time that is!), as no journey to Komodo National Park is complete without a visit to see the famous Komodo Dragons, we will take you over to Rinca island for your Dragon Tour!

The Ranger Station at Loh Buaya offers a recently built Education Centre which is a great addition to seeing the Komodo Dragons. The Rangers of Rinca are infinitely knowledgeable about the Komodo Dragon and are always happy to share their knowledge with you.

The trekking time on Rinca Island usually ranges from 1.5 - 2 hours (including visiting the Education Centre). Komodo dragons are not the only animal you can see here- keep your eyes out for monkeys, water buffalo, deer and an array of birds flying over head!

After your trek, we will make our way slowly back to port, allowing plenty of time to wash & dry your dive gear, rest, relax and prepare for a fond farewell. 

Day 10: Disembarkation Day (Depart by 10am)
KLM Eliya will return to Labuan Bajo. Breakfast will be served as per usual and all guests can start to disembark by 5am, will all guests disembarking no later than 10am. Once back at the office in town, our staff will assist in settling any remaining payments, and arranging taxis to your hotels or airport.

*A supplement fee of $900 per person is applicable if you wish to book the Triple share Bow room for 2 guests only.

inclusions & exclusions

Note on Included Transfers:
Included in your package is a free transfer each way. This means we can offer the following options for your pick up and drop off:

Option 1: Transfer directly from your hotel on Alor Island to KLM Eliya at Kalabahi Port.

Option 2: Transfer directly from Mali airport to KLM Eliya at Kalabahi Port (due to the early morning flights occasionally being delayed, we would only recommend this as a last resort. If you do choose this option, please note, there is currently only one flight per day from Kupang to Alor Island, landing at 0930am!)

For your transfer back- the same will apply:
Option 1: Transfer directly from our office in town, to your hotel in Labuan Bajo (this will allow you time to clear any bills you might have, or if you would like to purchase any mementos such a T-shirt, log book etc!)

Option 2: Transfer directly from KLM Eliya to the Labuan Bajo airport. Please note that any outstanding bills must have been paid before departing the KLM Eliya if you do not go via the office. If you choose this option, you should ensure your departure flight is not before 3pm.

Note on Excluded Park & Excursion fees:

  • Marine Park & Harbour Fees: US$250 per person
  • Fuel Surcharge Fee: US$200 per person*

*Fuel surcharge fee will only be applicable if fuel prices increase dramatically before your trip. We will notify you in advance if this occurs.

  • Fees are subject to change without notice as this is set by the local government
  • If you already have a valid Raja Ampat Marine Park ticket, please let us know in advance.
  • These fees are applicable per person
  • Fees to be settled in advance of trip
  • Land Excursions: 400,000 IDR per person per excursion (if applicable)
