Travel through Raja Ampat to Alor aboard the kLM eliya!

With this incredible bucket-list package, you will travel 1,000 miles exploring two incredible archipelago's in Indonesia. We only offer this itinerary twice a year, so make sure you book your space early to avoid missing out!

Starting off in the more remote islands of Raja Ampat in the South, such as Misool Island- offering exceptional marine diversity! Known for it's fantastic visibility, abundant marine life & world-class dive sites, you are sure to start your trip in spectacular fashion!

From the south of Raja Ampat, we will journey on to the "Ring of Fire" with it's incredible underwater landscapes & the chances of schooling hammerheads- the exhilaration doesn't end! From the large to the rare, we head on to Alor, well known for it's diversity and elusive marine critters such as Rhinopias. Make sure your camera's are charged and ready to go! 

Dive sites will be chosen based on the conditions at the time, tides, your dive experience level and of course if you have any particular requests, we will always try to accommodate where possible!

Please note we require all divers to hold a minimum Open Water license + Deep Adventure dive (allowing you to dive up to 30M).

11 day 10 night (28 dives)


Itinerary below is for illustration purposes and will be subject to conditions at the time

Day 1 : Embarkation Day- (1 check dive) 
At 1230pm, one of our drivers will collect you from your hotel* and bring you to the harbour in Sorong.

Once everybody is onboard our crew will offer you a welcome drink and our Cruise Director will orientate you to the KLM Eliya and explain how the next week is going to work as well as ensuring you are fully aware of our safety procedures onboard.

You will be given time to check out your cabins and become familiar with the boat while we prepare for your check dive around 2pm!

By 3pm, we will start sailing towards our first overnight mooring spot within the Raja Ampat National Park. Your first meal aboard will be a delicious evening meal cooked by our fantastic local chefs.

*If you plan to take the early morning flight we can also arrange a pick up from the airport, as long as you land no later than 12pm. Please note, flight are often delayed and we highly recommend planning on arriving the night before embarkation to avoid any undue stress or risk

Day 2 & 3: (3 day dives + 1 sunset/ night dive each day)
As we will have journeyed overnight, we will wake you up nice and early for your first dive of day 2! Your adventure begins with incredible diving in the southern region of the Raja Ampat National Park. We aim to dive the Wayil, Fiabacet & Boo area before heading across to Koon Island

Days 2 & 3 will follow a similar schedule:

We will wake you each morning around 6.00am, allowing you the option to enjoy some light snacks, tea and coffee, before embarking on your first exhilarating dive of the day- Can you think of a better way to wake up?!

After Dive 1 you will be welcomed back onboard with a hot, tasty breakfast to enjoy as we travel to our second site of the day.

Dive 2 will begin late morning. After Dive 2 you will enjoy an extended surface interval, allowing ample time to enjoy a delicious lunch!

Dive 3 will begin late afternoon, allowing plenty of time to soak up the stunning scenery this area has to offer.

Your final dive of the day will be a sunset/ night dive. Depending on the location of the site, we will serve dinner either before, or after this dive.

Day 4 & 5: (3 day dives)
Todays exciting dives will be around Pulau Koon a unique location off the beaten track  known for it's vibrant reefs an stunning wall dives! On day 5, we aim to explore Wetar with it's abundance of sea turtles and pristine reefs. The diving will follow a similar schedule as day 2 & 3. 

After the days adventures, we will start sailing towards Pulau Alor.

Day 6-8: (3 day dives)
Day 6, 7 & 8 will follow a similar schedule to day 2 & 3, exploring the incredibly scenic area known as the "Ring of Fire". With dramatic underwater landscapes formed by volcanoes, to incredibly diverse marine life from groupers to turtles to rays, to the chances of schooling hammerheads. This area has something for everyone.  

Day 9: (3 day dives + 1 sunset/ night dive)
Day 9 will see us heading to Alor and the Pantar Strait with it's exhilarating currents, crystal clear water and pristine reefs a must-visit for all divers, with over 500 species of coral and seemingly never ending array of marine life- an incredible day awaits!

Day 10: (2 day dives + Village visit)
The last dives of this this incredible adventure will be around Alor, with the chance to visit a local village. We will then start sailing back to the Kalabahi Port, allowing plenty of time to enjoy the scenery along the way, drying your gear & swapping stories with your fellow passengers on your personal highlights!

Day 11: Disembarkation Day (Depart by 10am)
KLM Eliya will end her journey at Kalabahi Port. Breakfast will be served as per usual and all guests can start to disembark by 5am, will all guests disembarking no later than 10am. We can help to arrange taxis to your hotel in town or to the airport if you have an onward flight.

*A supplement fee of $900 per person is applicable if you wish to book the Triple share Bow room for 2 guests only.
**A 50% single supplement fee is applicable if staying alone. Only available for "Twin share" ensuite cabins

inclusions & exclusions

Note on Included Transfers:
Included in your package is a free transfer each way. This means we can offer the following options for your pick up and drop off:

Option 1: Transfer directly from your hotel in Sorong to KLM Eliya in Sorong Harbour

Option 2: Transfer directly from Sorong airport to KLM Eliya in Sorong Harbour (due to the early morning flights occasionally being delayed, we would only recommend this as a last resort. If you do choose this option, please ensure your flight lands by 12pm to give you the best possible chance of not missing the boat!)

For your transfer back- the same will apply:
Option 1: Transfer directly KLM Eliya in Kalabahi Port, to your hotel on Alor island.

Option 2: Transfer directly from KLM Eliya to the airport (Mali Airport). The drive from the harbour to the airport is a short 5 minute drive away. There is currently only one flight per day, departing at 1005am. To ensure you reach the airport in time, you will need to disembark the Eliya no later than 0730am.

Note on Excluded Park & Excursion fees:

  • Marine Park & Harbour Fees: US$250 per person
  • Fuel Surcharge Fee: US$200 per person*

*Fuel surcharge fee will only be applicable if fuel prices increase dramatically before your trip. We will notify you in advance if this occurs.

  • Fees are subject to change without notice as this is set by the local government
  • If you already have a valid Raja Ampat Marine Park ticket, please let us know in advance.
  • These fees are applicable per person
  • Fees to be settled in advance of trip
  • Land Excursions: 400,000 IDR per person per excursion (if applicable)
