Day 1 : Embarkation Day- (1 check dive)Â
Between 9-930am, one of our drivers will collect you from your hotel* and bring you to the harbour in Sorong. The specific time of pick up will be confirmed over Whatsapp by your Cruise Director the night before you sail!
Once everybody is onboard our crew will offer you a welcome drink and our Cruise Director will orientate you to the KLM Eliya and explain how the next week is going to work as well as ensuring you are fully aware of our safety procedures onboard.
You will be given time to check out your cabins and become familiar with the boat while we start sailing towards our first overnight mooring spot within the Raja Ampat National Park. Your first meal aboard will be a delicious lunch cooked by our fantastic local chefs. Once every one is settled in, and we have arrived at our first port call, we will get you prepared for your check dive in the late afternoon!
*If you plan to take the early morning flight we can also arrange a pick up from the airport, as long as you land no later than 10am. We highly recommend planning on arriving the night before embarkation to avoid any undue stress or risk of flight delays.Â
Day 2 & 3: (3 day dives + 1 sunset/ night dive each day)
As we will have arrived at our first mooring spot yesterday, we will wake you up nice and early for your first dive of day 2! Today your adventure truly begins with world class diving in the southern region of the Raja Ampat National Park.
Days 2 & 3 will follow a similar schedule:
We will wake you each morning around 6.00am, allowing you the option to enjoy some light snacks, tea and coffee, before embarking on your first exhilarating dive of the day- Can you think of a better way to wake up?!
After Dive 1 you will be welcomed back onboard with a hot, tasty breakfast to enjoy as we travel to our second site of the day.
Dive 2 will begin late morning. After Dive 2 you will enjoy an extended surface interval, allowing ample time to enjoy a delicious lunch!
Dive 3 will begin early afternoon, allowing plenty of time afterwards to soak up the stunning scenery this area has to offer.
Your final dive of the day will be a sunset/ night dive. Depending on the location of the site, we will serve dinner either before, or after this dive.
Day 4: (3 day dives + Sunset Beach Trip)
Todays plan will follow a similar plan as day 2 & 3, however, we will also aim to enjoy some sunset drinks on a beach (a spectacular spot where we often see baby sharks swimming in the shallows!)
After your days adventure, we will start sailing towards the central region of Raja.
Day 5: (3 day dives + Piaynemo Lagoon Hike)
No journey to Central Raja Ampat is complete without a hike to see the stunning views of the turquoise blue lagoons below! It takes about 15 minutes to hike the 200 steps to the top, a worthwhile venture to capture some stunning photographs!
Day 6 & 7: (3 day dives + 1 sunset/ night dive)
Day 6 & 7 will follow the same type of schedule as day 2 & 3, though this time, we will be exploring the sites in the central region, such as the sites in the Dampier Strait.
Day 8: (2 day dives)
We aim to finish the last dive by 1pm, allowing enough time to off gas, dry your dive gear and prepare for any onward travels. The afternoon will be spent making our journey back to Sorong for our final overnight port.
Day 9: Disembarkation Day (Depart by 10am)
Breakfast will be served as per usual and all guests will disembark by 10am. We can help to arrange taxis to your hotel in town or to the airport if you have an onward flight.
