South & Central

If you have a little extra time, we highly recommend considering our 8 day or 9 day package, which opens up the diving in the South of Raja Ampat! 

The central sites around the areas such as the Dampier Strait are some of the most nutrient rich waters in the world with frequent encounters of manta rays, a multitude of schooling sweetlips, barracudas, bumphead parrot fish & trevally. Drift along and enjoy the astounding sites this area has to offer! 

We will also be embarking on the further sites in the south, such as Misool Island- known for it's large pelagics, there are a number of manta clean stations to explore, and with the chances of spotting wobbegongs, groupers, snappers and an plethora of reef sharks, you are destined to have an epic adventure!

Dive sites will be chosen based on the conditions at the time, tides, your dive experience level and of course if you have any particular requests, we will always try to accommodate where possible!

Please note we require all divers to hold a minimum Open Water license + Deep Adventure dive (allowing you to dive up to 30M).

Day 1 : Embarkation Day- (1 check dive) 
At 1230pm, one of our drivers will collect you from your hotel* and bring you to the harbour in Sorong.

Once everybody is onboard our crew will offer you a welcome drink and our Cruise Director will orientate you to the KLM Eliya and explain how the next week is going to work as well as ensuring you are fully aware of our safety procedures onboard.

You will be given time to check out your cabins and become familiar with the boat while we prepare for your check dive at 2pm!

By 3pm, we will start sailing towards our first overnight mooring spot within the Raja Ampat National Park. Your first meal aboard will be a delicious evening meal cooked by our fantastic local chefs.

*If you plan to take the early morning flight we can also arrange a pick up from the airport, as long as you land no later than 12pm. Please note, flight are often delayed and we highly recommend planning on arriving the night before embarkation to avoid any undue stress or risk

Day 2 & 3: (3 day dives + 1 sunset/ night dive each day)
As we will have journeyed overnight, we will wake you up nice and early for your first dive of day 2! Today your adventure truly begins with world class diving in the southern region of the Raja Ampat National Park,

Days 2 & 3 will follow a similar schedule:

We will wake you each morning around 6.00am, allowing you the option to enjoy some light snacks, tea and coffee, before embarking on your first exhilarating dive of the day- Can you think of a better way to wake up?!

After Dive 1 you will be welcomed back onboard with a hot, tasty breakfast to enjoy as we travel to our second site of the day.

Dive 2 will begin late morning. After Dive 2 you will enjoy an extended surface interval, allowing ample time to enjoy a delicious lunch!

Dive 3 will begin late afternoon, allowing plenty of time to soak up the stunning scenery this area has to offer.

Your final dive of the day will be a sunset/ night dive. Depending on the location of the site, we will serve dinner either before, or after this dive.

Day 4: (3 day dives + Love Lagoon Hike)
No journey to Misool is complete without a hike to see the distinctive heart shaped lagoon at Pulau Karawapop- best viewed from above! The hike is 600 steps up to the top, a little bit of a trek, but worth it for the views, afterwards take a refreshing dip in the crystal waters of the lagoon.

After your days adventure, we will start sailing towards the central region of Raja.

Day 5: (3 day dives + 1 sunset/ night dive)
Day 5 will follow the same type of schedule as day 2 & 3, though this time, we will be exploring the sites in the central region, such as the sites in the Dampier Strait.

Day 6: (2 day dives + Piaynemo Lagoon Hike + 1 sunset/ night dive)
No journey to Central Raja Ampat is complete without a hike to see the stunning views of the turquoise blue lagoons below! It takes about 15 minutes to hike the 200 steps to the top, a worthwhile venture to capture some stunning photographs!

Day 7: (3 day dives)
We aim to finish the last dive by 1pm, allowing enough time to off gas, dry your dive gear and prepare for any onward travels.

Day 8: Disembarkation Day (Depart by 10am)
KLM Eliya will return to Sorong harbour. Breakfast will be served as per usual and all guests will disembark by 10am. We can help to arrange taxis to your hotel in town or to the airport if you have an onward flight.

*A supplement fee of $800 per person is applicable if you wish to book the Triple share Bow room for 2 guests only.
**A 50% single supplement fee is applicable if staying alone. Only available for "Twin share" ensuite cabins
