The Raja Ampat 2026 Liveaboard – A New Chapter in the Scuba Junkie Journey

Raja Ampat 2026 liveaboard, from a modest dive center in Semporna to a name recognized across Southeast Asia, Scuba Junkie has spent the last two decades sharing the underwater world with thousands of passionate divers. Now, 21 years later, we’re proud to unveil our most ambitious chapter yet: Raja Ampat 2026 liveaboard adventures aboard the custom-built KLM Eliya.

For those who have travelled with us in Sipadan, Komodo, Sangalaki, Penida, or KK, you already know the meaning of diving with the Scuba Junkie family. Raja Ampat 2026 liveaboard is not just our next destination – it’s the pinnacle of everything we believe in: breathtaking marine life, world-class diving, and unforgettable memories shared with great people.

Why Raja Ampat is a Must-Do Dive Experience

Imagine waking up surrounded by rainforest-draped islets, the sea perfectly still, and the sun slowly rising over a horizon of emerald water. You sip your coffee on the deck of KLM Eliya as reef sharks cruise below. Moments later, you roll into an explosion of color – hundreds of coral species teeming with life, from pygmy seahorses to swirling barracudas.

This isn’t fantasy. This is Raja Ampat 2026 liveaboard.

Tucked into the northwest tip of West Papua, Indonesia, Raja Ampat is home to the highest marine biodiversity on Earth. It’s a living museum of evolution, a dreamscape of marine life, and now – it’s within your reach with Scuba Junkie.

Diving Seasons & Departure Dates

Raja Ampat’s peak diving season runs from October to April. That’s when the seas are calm, visibility is excellent, and marine life is abundant. During the May to September off-season, the KLM Eliya will return to Komodo, where that region’s dry season offers spectacular diving in its own right.

For Raja Ampat 2026, here are our currently scheduled trips:

November 2026:

  • 1st – 8th November – Fully booked
  • 11th – 19th November
  • 22nd – 28th November

December 2026:

  • 1st – 8th December
  • 10th – 18th December
  • 20th – 26th December (on request)
  • 28th December – 4th January 2027 (on request)

A Glimpse Into the Raja Ampat 2026 liveaboard Journey

Spend each day discovering the pristine reefs around Penemu Island, the world-renowned sites in the Dampier Strait, and unforgettable dives around Cape Kri.

Revel in the untamed beauty of the surrounding islands (there are hundreds within Raja Ampat!) from our handcrafted sun deck, and enjoy your evenings bathed in starlight. There is no place better than aboard the Eliya with a cold beverage, swapping stories and sightings with your fellow divers.

The Dampier Strait, running between Waigeo and Batanta, offers thrilling drift dives, while Arborek stuns with vibrant reefs and the chance to visit local villages. For those on extended itineraries, we will venture to the remote southern islands like Misool – a treasure trove of marine biodiversity.

Dive sites will be selected based on conditions, tides, and your experience level. We always do our best to accommodate special requests.
